No US soldier should ever have to fight for Ursula's EU censorship complex

For the taxpayer-funded EU censorship complex of apparatchiks, bureaucrats, ruling elites and NGO fanatics, nothing is more threatening than travel bans — because such sanctions hit two nerve centers of their ideology at once: migration and free speech. The U.S. sanctions against two HateAid activists (Josephine Ballon and Anna-Lena von Hodenberg) and Europe’s most dangerous censorship ideologue (Thierry Breton) show that you can defend free speech by protecting your borders (from them) — a thought so outrageous and dangerous to DSA ideologues that they cannot bear it. After all, in Europe they wage their war on free speech so fiercely precisely to prevent the people from daring to rise up against all their failed ideas, above all the murderous ideology of illegal, uncontrolled mass migration (and the eco-socialist impoverishment program known as the Green Deal).

Free Speech, Closed Borders
In the United States, words are free and the borders are closed — a catastrophically attractive countermodel to Brussels’ own self-extinguishing ideology, where words are restricted and limited while the borders are flung wide open. Where, as in America, there is no desire to control the economy, there is no need to control the people — only the borders, in order to protect and preserve prosperity.
The EU, by contrast, has long entered an era of unchained decline — an age that, throughout history, has always been accompanied by massive assaults on free speech. The grander and more grotesque the failures of the powerful, the greater their urge to silence the masses.
The very politicians who, in every security speech, freely admit that our freedom and safety rely entirely on American military power in Europe (that is, interference), now indignantly reject American interference in European internal affairs — bizarrely insisting that Europeans should decide whom the United States allows into its own country. Border protection against enemies of the supposedly shared values (such as free speech) seems outrageous to politicians from Brussels to Paris to Berlin. Yet the reality is simple:
First, “free speech” is the first fundamental right in the U.S. Constitution. The German organization HateAid openly opposes this right, targeting statements “that still just barely fall under free speech” and lie “below the threshold of criminal liability.” HateAid is nothing but a mercenary force of censorship — outsourced quasi-state power wielding uncontrolled yet taxpayer-funded authority to do what the state itself is not allowed to do. HateAid hunts people, marking them as targets for social destruction in the digital sphere. For this, they receive medals (such as the Federal Cross of Merit) from the powerful whose criticism they help suppress. HateAid performs the duties that, in socialist and other authoritarian regimes, are carried out by secret services: protecting the failing ideologues from the people.
Second, Article 5 of the NATO Treaty — the pledge of mutual defense — and Article 5 of the German Basic Law — free speech — are tightly intertwined. An American security guarantee for Germany (and Europe) can and should only exist if Germany respects and defends the fundamental rights for which young Americans would be expected to fight and die. No American family can be expected to accept that their son should defend, on European soil, the censorship fantasies of the unelected über-bureaucrat Ursula von der Leyen. If one were to tell the fallen U.S. soldiers of Omaha Beach about the censorship monstrosity called the DSA, they would rightly ask why they charged through machine-gun fire to liberate Europe.

Christmas gift for all Europeans
The EU, once a project of peace and above all prosperity, has taken a catastrophic turn. The more Europe’s prosperity is destroyed by devastating — indeed, deranged — climate, energy, and migration policies, the more free speech is restricted so that Europe’s citizens do not complain too loudly or even rebel against Brussels. With the cold ruthlessness of authoritarian rulers, von der Leyen and her allies unleash their “Trusted Flaggers,” their intimidation squads, on political dissidents — dragging them to court, raiding their homes. You can’t spell “censorship” in German (Zensur) without “EU.” The dreadful Digital Services Act would never have passed a German parliament — a monstrosity smuggled into the daily lives of millions of freedom-loving Europeans through the EU, where it now unleashes its arbitrary power. It can strike anyone, at any time, who refuses to bow to the ruling ideology.
The U.S. sanctions against the central actors of the EU censorship apparatus were a Christmas gift for all Europeans who want to fight back — with the power of words — against the historically failed ideologues of Brussels, the current high point in the battle against the NGO complex.
